Just a little video that I put together for GoPro's "First" themed contest. If you like it, Share it!
The title kind of sums it up: Building an Airsoft Replica of Babydoll's gun from Sucker Punch. I found some water slide decals on Ebay, and decided to build to best replica that I could. The decals, grips and charms were added to make it a pretty darn good copy of the one in the movie. The only thing incorrect is the cherry medallions on the hand grips. If you know where I can get some, please let me know. I hope you enjoy this quickie little video that I threw together!
Just a quick test of the v4.0 firmware for Red Epic... Which finally includes Speed Ramping in camera!
As visual effects supervisor on Lions Among Men, this was the most complex shot that I completed. It was tracked in SynthEyes, the ships were from turbo squid and the sailors from Poser 7. All of the models were retextured and lit in ElectricImage. The passes were composited in Log to match the cineon scans with Adobe After Effects.
